Designer Statement
-The first thing I thought about when it came to choosing my country is my favorite sport which is soccer which is popular in Brazil.
- I then thought about the design elements I wanted to incorporate and thought about the language used in that country which is Portuguese. I looked up some Portuguese words and came across Premiado which means award winning.
- In terms of design, I researched about the cacao production in Brazil, and it was very hazardous to the children and the environment working with pesticides. I thought I could incorporate kids and soccer into my design to give back to the community of creating this healthier organic chocolate.
- I wanted to make it distinguishable so I put the famous Rio de Janeiro in the background and incorporated different kids and colors to each flavor.
